8 Day Stay and Cruise Felucca on the Princess Sarah Felucca
After the hustle and bustle of Cairo you’ll love the relaxed city of Aswan before boarding your traditional felucca and cruising on the Nile River.
Day 1 – 2
Arrive in Cairo where you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel. Over the 2 days you will visit some of the local sites of Cairo:
- Pyramids
- City of the Dead
- Mosque
- Cairo Tower
- Cairo Museum
- Khan il Khalili Bazaar
Then on the second day take the overnight sleeper train or fly to Aswan where you will be taken to your hotel/apartment.
Day 3
Spend the day visiting local sites, including:
- Philae Temple
- Aswan High Dam
- Possible visit a Nubian village
- Elephantine Island
- Local Souks
Day 4 - 6
Board the felucca ‘Princess Sarah’ to enjoy sailing on the beautiful Nile, all your food and soft drinks are provided and you’ll be visiting:
- Beaches
- Kom Ombo Temple
- Daraw Village
- Camel Markets
Take in the breathtaking views on this idyllic river.
On the last morning you will leave the felucca and drive to Luxor where you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 7
Spend the day visiting some of the sites of Luxor:
- Valley of the Kings
- Hapshetsut Temple
- Colossus of Menon
- Karnak Temple
Day 8
Fly to Cairo from Luxor
If you would like to extend the 8 day Felucca to visit the Red Sea in Hurghada then we can arrange transport/hotels and extra curriculum activities i.e quad biking, snorkelling, diving at an extra cost.
